Schedule of Events

The Victorian Dance Ensemble has presented programs for the Gettysburg Foundation at
the Gettysburg National Military Park's Museum and Visitor Center

Note: This schedule is subject to change. Confirm events before making plans to attend.

Please note: Events listed as "Public" are open to the general public. Some public events are free while others charge an admission fee.  Some events require tickets to be ordered in advance ("Advance Tickets Required") while others sell tickets at the door ("Tickets Required").  Always check with event sponsors before planning to attend an event.  Events that do not have the "Public" designation are restricted to members of specific organizations or invitees.

Balls usually require 19th century attire (some allow modern attire, men in coats & ties and ladies in dresses, check with the sponsor), the music is usually live.

Informal Dances allow casual modern clothing, music is usually recorded and the events are designed to teach dancing to newcomers and for experienced dancers to practice.

Dance Demonstrations present typical dances of the mid 19th century to audiences, they often include a fashion show and description of Victorian etiquette, they usually conclude with an audience participation dance.  Music can be live or recorded.

Rehearsals & Meetings are for CWDF volunteers only or specifically invited guests.
